In addition to her work in the children’s illustration field, Jacqueline created the artwork for the Chicago Women’s March “Ladies Marching” poster, and has done editorial work for the Obama Foundation, NPR, The Chicago Reader, The Chicago Foundation for Women, The Southern Poverty Law Center, Elle Decor, and the University of Chicago, among others. Tios and Primos is Jacqueline’s author-artist debut and was inspired by her visits with her father to Honduras. She draws and teaches illustration in Chicago, Illinois.CN
