Description
The Red Tide Apocalypse is the first installment in a series of books detailing a world wide pandemic and the people who try to quell it. In this first tale, governments and civilians are forced to fight organized hordes of Red Eyed hunters whose only goal is to infect and convert all humanity. In the US, healthy humans are forced to surrender large swaths of land to the infected. As the survivors retreat, the enemy infiltrates several areas within the government-held territory. This development depletes the resources of the healthy survivors. Apocalypse: To Remove the veil; a Revelation
To anyone who cares. The Red Tide Apocalypse is not about the end of the world. The world goes on even if humanity doesn’t.
This work explores the ramifications of a worldwide pandemic and the responses of the men and women who strive to fight against it. The victims of this pandemic transform into red eyed beasts who attack and transmit the disease to the healthy survivors. These Red Eyes are not zombies so there is no crises of religious faith, no stink of plodding corpses and no cannibalism.
Instead, the infected are faster and stronger than their healthy counterparts and they retain some of their mental faculties. They also work together in their attacks against the healthy.
Unlike other works, the government and military do not dissolve immediately. They fight on even as the enemy strengthens.
This book details pitched battles in several US cities including Dallas, Cleveland and Little Rock as well as individual struggles within the war zones. Matthew L. Robinson was born in the town of Montague Massachusetts and currently resides in the village of Turners Falls
