The beautiful volume highlights the architectural solutions from the thirteenth to the twentieth centuries that produce the particular spatial quality of these urban structures and sets out how they were originally established for and are continuing to be used by the people.
  Labics, a Rome-based architecture firm, was founded by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori. They also lecture and serve as guest critics at international universities, such as Cornell University’s School of Architecture.
