An amazing account of how two sisters gained the courage to take on the world – and each other. Cate Campbell is an Olympic gold-medal winner and world champion. At just 16 years of age Cate made her Olympic debut at the 2008 Beijing Games and claimed two bronze medals. Since then, Cate has represented Australia at four Olympics, two Commonwealth Games, three World Championships and three Pan Pacific Championships. At the 2018 Pan Pacs in Tokyo, the Malawi-born freestyler took home a whopping five gold medals, giving her an overall international gold medal tally of 18. The Dolphins leader also holds two world records and one games record and was one of the two flag-bearers for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Bronte Campbell is an Olympic gold-medal winner and world champion. Bronte made history alongside sister Cate in 2012, becoming the first Australian sisters to compete in the same swimming event at the Olympic Games: the women’s 50m freestyle in London. At the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Bronte Campbell broke two games records and won two gold medals – individually in the women’s 100m freestyle, as well as part of the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay team. At the 2015 World Championships, Bronte became the third female in history to win both the 50m and 100m freestyle world titles. She was a member of the 2020 (2021) Tokyo Olympic Games world-record-breaking 4 x 100m freestyle relay team.
