Description

Do you ever wonder about that moment when you’re about to fall asleep, but something draws you back into wakefulness and you realise that your mind had wandered into some very odd place? Have you ever noticed how the people in your family who argue the most are the ones who are the most similar?Jonathan Waller invites you on a journey through the mind of one of the founding fathers of psychoanalysis, Carl Jung, showing you through first-hand experience how you can take Jung’s teachings and grow them into a deeply embodied, personal experience.Focusing on big questions such as ‘How is the mind structured?’, ‘Why do we need rationality?’, and ‘What are the problems which politics can’t solve?’, you will be grasping at things like human consciousness, the unconscious mind, mystical, religious and transformative experiences, and things which by their nature are counter-intuitive or even paradoxical.
Suitable for curious thinkers, budding changemakers, and normal people, learn about one rebel’s take on your questions today. The best part is, you don’t need to be an academic or a philosopher to read this book! In fact, it helps.

It's going to get pretty abstract and sometimes just downright strange.

Sounds fascinating though, doesn't it?
Jonathan Waller has absolutely no credentials as a writer whatsoever. He works in a coffee shop, is an utterly normal person, and is not very good at talking himself up in the third person. He is the founder of an experimental intersubjective sensemaking collective which has yet to have its first meeting. Track record and PHDs are overrated, anyway.
