The Essential Africa Inland Church History is the inspiring story of faithful men and women – both expatriates and Africans – who gave themselves unselfishly to evangelistic ministries of many kinds to become the first church in Kenya to achieve autonomy and independence from its parent mission. Today Jesus, by his Spirit, continues to build his church through the work of the Africa Inland Church throughout the continent. For 36 years, Rev Dr Richard J. Gehman served in Kenya with the Africa Inland Church as missionaries of the Africa Inland Mission. He received his MA from Wheaton College, the Master of Divinity from Gordon Divinity School, and his Doctor of Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
