Applicability of Reliability-Centered Maintenance in the Water Industry

Description

This research report assessed how water utilities could apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) to new and existing infrastructure and evaluated the costs and benefits of such programs. RCM components were identified as well as how utility maintenance programs are currently developed and how such a program would be implemented. RCM pilot projects were completed with the Denver Water Board and Veolia Water Indianapolis. Costs and benefits are presented along with implementation procedures and Change Management recommendations. Includes CD. List of Tables
